The Challenge

Founded by a brother duo with crazy design ideas, Socks n Socks began as a premium socks brand. While they sell premium socks, their average order value wasn’t quite remarkable. Customers were only purchasing 1-2 pairs max. Even during sales. Our goal was to increase that number.

My Approach

The previous year, Socks n Socks offered 40% off selected items. But the AOV was only $21.8. We wanted to increase the number of products customers added to their carts and complete checkout, which ultimately increased the AOV. For this to be possible, our offer had to be tiered. We do this by giving them different tiers of discounts. The more they spend, the bigger the discount.

As a result of this offer, customers spent more.

The next approach to increase AOV was to offer Buy One Get One 50% off.

With this offer, customers get the second item for 50% off. This encouraged them to purchase at least 2 items.
